Flow

Suitable for all 75/60 Minutes

LANO Flow classes are based upon the principle of linking your movements and breath, one flowing into the next. You can expect the style of flow to vary between our teachers, from slower alignment focused classes to more dynamic sequences that work towards a peak posture. What each class has in common is the aim to help you become aware of your breath and find a little more ease in your body than when you walked in.

FIRST TIME AT LANO YOGA?

It can feel scary starting something new, but rest assured that we have all had the very same first class nerves!  Here is some useful information to get you started.

  • Firstly, it’s important to note you do not need to be flexible to practise yoga, here or anywhere! You might find it is a nice benefit, but not a prerequisite, so come just as you are!
  • Please don’t stress, our friendly team are here to make sure you feel comfortable. Show up and we’ll take care of the rest.
  • Arrive 15 minutes before the class start time. This will give you a chance to familiarise yourself with the space and meet your teacher beforehand.
  • We suggest you have your last meal at least 2 hours before the class starts, to avoid indigestion or discomfort.
  • If you are joining a hot class, make sure you wear breathable clothes as it gets hot and humid! Most students tend to wear shorts and t-shirt/vest.
  • You will need a yoga mat and good-sized towel to cover it, especially if practising a hot class. We hire them both out if don’t have either.
  • Changing rooms and showers are available at both studios. We also have accessible toilets at both studios.
  • LANO Southsea has ground level, step-free access to the studio and changing facilities. LANO Chichester is on the 2nd floor with lift access.
  • No under 16s permitted to any yoga class unless it is a designated children’s class. Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult on their first visit. After their first class, they are allowed to practise unaccompanied with written permission from their parent or guardian.

LANO Yoga can’t wait to meet you!
